Each year, the Swiss Confederation attributes grants of government excellence to promote cooperation of international trade and research between Switzerland and more than 180 other countries. The recipients are selected by the award organization, the Federal Commission for Stock Exchange for Foreign Students (FCS).
In addition, scholarships of excellence of the Swiss government are intended for young researchers from abroad who have a master’s degree or a doctorate and foreign artists holding a baccalaureate.

Applicants must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Excellent notes and control or finished equivalent are necessary.
- Submit a well thought -out research proposition describing objectives, methodology and meaning.
- The mastery of English or French is necessary, with TOEFL, IELTS, DALF or specific scores.
- Applicants must generally be under 35 at the time of demand.
