Applications are now open for 2026 Leter B. Pearson International Scholarship Program. International Lester B. Pearson scholarships at the University of Toronto offer an unrivaled opportunity for exceptional international students to study in one of the best universities in the world in one of the most multicultural cities in the world. The scholarship program is intended to recognize students who show academic success and exceptional creativity and who are recognized as leaders within their school. A particular emphasis is put on the impact that the student has had on the life of their school and his community, and their future potential to contribute positively to the global community.
Rewarded each year, these scholarships recognize exceptional students from around the world, including international students who study in Canadian secondary schools. It is the most prestigious and competitive scholarship in U of U of international students. International Lester B. Pearson scholarships will cover tuition fees, books, accessory costs and full support for the residence for four years. The scholarship is only tenable at the University of Toronto for undergraduate programs. Each year, around 37 students will be appointed Lester B. Pearson Scholars.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the Pearson International stock exchange, you must be:
- an international student (that is to say a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);
- Registered with your last year of senior high school in 2025/2026 or graduated as soon as possible in June 2025
- Start your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2026 (students who already attend post -secondary studies cannot be taken into account; students who start their post -secondary studies in January 2026 in another post -secondary establishment cannot be taken into account).
Demand process
The 2026 competition opens on July 1, 2025. To apply, you will have to:
- Receive an appointment from your school. High schools not already contacted / verified are invited to submit a request to participate in our program, available here. (External link) Secondary schools that participated in a previous year will receive their access to appointment from July 1, 2025.
- Apply to study at the University of Toronto (external link) By October 17, 2025 to start your studies in September 2026. Please note that you will be considered for the Pearson Stock Exchange for your First program choice in u of t. You can request multiple programs and perhaps receive admission to everyone; However, the Pearson Stock Exchange, if allocated to you, would be limited to your first program choice in U of T when our scholarship decisions are taken.
- Once we have received an appointment and you have applied to the university, you can complete the Later B. Pearson scholarship request online by November 7, 2025. You will receive a private link to the scholarship request when you are successfully appointed by your school.
- Submit all the necessary documents online by November 7, 2025.
